What's the difference between the uart V1 and V2 adapters?

The V1 (http://freematics.com/store/index.php?r ... duct_id=30) is $25 and the V2 (http://freematics.com/store/index.php?r ... duct_id=83) is $45. I don't quite get what the difference is other than the V2 is better.

I have the V1 right now with my mega kit and it only seems to work with some of my cars. I'm trying to get it to work with my 2006 subaru impreza but it only works on my 2006 pontiac GTO. I was wondering if the V2 would work with that or I just did something wrong in code.

Actually I have the I2C adapter.

What's the difference between these?!

On the page for the I2C (or really any other) model:
http://freematics.com/store/index.php?r ... duct_id=51

scroll down to the "Comparison" section and you will see the difference.
But basically...
V1 is UART only and no MEMS (accelerometer).
I2C is, well, an I2C interface and has a MEMS.
V2 is UART *and* microUSB (so you can use it directly on a computer) and also has MEMS.

So really just depends on what you want to do with it.

Well I sang the words and realized. It had all been said before. So I tried a different line that meant the same. But it didn't have the feeling. And the first one said much more. So I guess I'll have to say it once again. Thank you
