Re: 2x Freematics ONE+ Traccar Edition aren't working

Make sure to always change the GNSS option to external while compiling as you use external one.

Re: Freematics ONE OBD not working

Could you uncomment the following line in FreematicsONE.cpp and compile again so more information will be output to serial to help find out the cause.

Code: Select all

#define DEBUG Serial

Re: 2x Freematics ONE+ Traccar Edition aren't working

If you see GNSS:NO there is no chance any coordinates will be obtained. GNSS receivers are not detected for some reason. Have you tried both receivers?
As for the cellular network issue, did you test with the same SIM card that works in another unit?

Re: Freematics ONE+ Model B SIM7600E-H

As open source hardware, there is no factory software as the code in github is regularly updated and in most cases the latest revision should be working well. Please try pulling the code from github again, and change VERBOSE_XBEE in FreematicsPlus.cpp as following so more info will be in the serial ...

Re: 2x Freematics ONE+ Traccar Edition aren't working

Did you connect GPS receiver as I see you have model A and no GNSS is detected. Try powering from OBD instead of USB alone which might not supply sufficient power surge.

Re: Freematics ONE+ Model B SIM7600E-H

You USB port can't supply enough power the cellular module requires. Connect to device to OBD port to solve this issue. Alternatively, you can use a powered USB hub.

Re: OBD reconect

When key is off, OBD PIDs are not accessible. You have to use sniffing mode to listen for traffic.

Re: OBD UART CAN Sniffing challenges

Sniffing commands are different from standard ELM327. So it makes no sense to referring to ELM327 documentation.

Re: ISO 9141-2 not compatible, not supported (G1 Honda Insight)

I just made a minor change to OBD2UART library so init() still return true when PID maps cannot be loaded. Please update and try.
