Make sure BLE is not connected if you want to pair BT SPP. Pairing password should be 1234.

It is not neccessary to connect the OBD-II adapter to let the OLED light up. Please take a pic of your hardware. If it is the defective of the OLED, we will ship you a new one.

For cars manufactured after 2008 (no matter European or Japanese ones), they should all have no issue. I play with all the stuff on my Audi A3 E-tron.

I have no idea about this yet. Are you very sure that your Punto supports the 29B 500K can protocol? Have you tried manually set protocol by obd.init(protocol)?
