Sadly it's not supported. J1850 is now only used by trucks.

The sketch is provide AS-IS. If your UNO board uses 512byte boot loader instead of generic 2KB one, you will be able load it. Otherwise, you need to fine tune the sketch to reduce the code size by yourself.

It is not necessary to send ATACC1. Sending ATACC0 will cause "ECU" stop responding to requests and sending ATACC1 to resume.

So the COM port does appear in system device manager? Could you try updating with the latest firmware? The firmware updater is included in the GUI software package and can run standalone.

The reason is that compiled HEX is too big to fit on the target. Arduino UNO has 32KB flash memory but normally only 28KB (on some boards) or 30KB can be used.
