We don't have setup with external GPS antenna yet. A OBD-II extension cable may help.

The OBD adapter that comes with kit 1 is a UART version instead of I2C version.

If you are using kit 2, the default setup is for the microSD on data logger shield.
Is your car using ISO9141-2 protocol?
