I have the same question. Just received a Freematics ONE and am trying to get some data from it in its out of box state. I hooked up a laptop running TeraTerm to the USB port on the adapter,, and all it does is wakes up, checks a few things and shuts down. I was expecting to see some PIDs coming up on the screen, but nothing. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

I'm also wondering this.
Installed the CH340 driver and under the assumption that it uses the ELM327 tried connecting to a Volvo V50 2005 with "Freediag 1.08" and "OBD Auto Doctor" without success. Serial over USB looks like it's working but neither software can connect to ELM.

The baudrate is 115200bps instead of 38400bps for ELM327.
