Power Pin Connector for Arduino Nano

Post by Oathbringer »

I am building a digital speedometer for my dash. For this project, I'm using an Arduino Nano, a 0.56" Adafruid LED display and the Freematics OBD-II UART Adapter V1 (for Arduino).

My question is this: Do I connect the regulated power from the UART adapter to the VIN, or the +5V pin on the Arduino Nano?

This is the Arduino Nano data sheet: https://www.mouser.com/pdfdocs/Gravitec ... ano3_0.pdf

Thanks in advance.

The power from OBD-II adapter is regulated 5V. So connect its VCC to Arduino Nano's 5V.
