Accelerometer calibration

I'm using Freematics ONE+ and unable to get the accelerometer to calibrate correctly. It looks like the software that came with Freematics unit is not calibrating the accelerometer as I'm seeing a non-trivial offset even after the calibration mechanism in the software. Currently, I'm using software compensation but, eventually, I would like to be able to use the hardware compensation so that temperature compensation is taken care of.
