Freematics OBD-II UART Adapter V2.1 (for Arduino)

Hi guys,
I bought a Freematics OBD-II UART Adapter V2.1 (for Arduino) in order to make some gauges for my car, I tried it on a Peugeot 208 and it's all ok, the code is correct and the datas are printed on the lcd screen but when I tried it on an MX5 Miata from 2001 I discovered that it doesn't work.
it is as if he could not connect to that ECU...
Do you Know why?
