Hello, I'm new here but maybe somebody has experience how to realize a distance meter device. This should be resettable as start a new reading. Greetings from Belgium, Daniel

There are a couple of ways.

1. by GPS coordinates change
2. by OBD-II distance traveled PID
3. by sampling OBD-II speed

I know one app name is AUTO DISTANCE. It is a handy camera measuring tool for quick estimation of the distance to any object and the height of object.
